A Church for older people

We have a strong tradition of activity and success in this area. Not only are we a local Church with a strong commitment to pastoral care, visiting, respect and value, but we also have weekly activities to engage and meet people’s needs e.g.:

• Wednesday Fellowship
• Friendship 2000, which is a signature piece of work for the Church, attracting over 50 retired people to a social afternoon with a spiritual base. Some members have subsequently found renewed faith and begun to attend on a Sunday. This group also organises monthly mid-week worship which anyone can attend.
